https://amzn.to/2EglWT2 **** 4 Stars A Powerful Attraction, by Delaney Diamond, is the first book in the Quicksand series. Ms. Diamond calls it the Quicksand series “because love pulls you in. The more you fight, the deeper you fall”. The book focuses on Sherry Westbrook and her boss Alex Barraza. Things really kick off when Sherry is unfortunately stood up for a date. Alex is at the right place at the right time so they have dinner together, which leads to so much more. Sherry and Alex fall for each other fast. On the surface, this is a book about a boss and employee who have feelings for each other. As we read on, we find out things go so much deeper than that. Ms. Diamond highlights not only the power of attraction, but also the power of love, true friendship and dedication. This was a very good, quick read and I would recommend it.
