Wow!! Marissa was tired. She was a single mother who raised a productive son, Morgan. She owned her own business for 20 years and she was in a loveless marriage for 7 years. Marissa decided to make changes. She closed her business and took a sabbatical. She divorced her husband and went to Morocco to visit her son who was an agent. Marissa wanted to enjoy life, so she went on her journey. While in Morocco she met General who was her son’s supervisor. With Marissa being a very independent and very out spoken which was an attraction to General. Eventually a relationship developed but there were some bumps which came from General’s ex-wife and Marissa’s son. This was a fast read because I wanted to know where Marissa’s journey was going to lead her. I highly recommend this book especially if you are a stalemate in life. The author, Angelia Vernon Menchan, will have you reevaluating where you are in life
